New Product Line forges our commitment to establish full visibility and accountability. OpenMetrik reinforces our new product strategy, solutions and service offerings for management decision support.

Piscataway NJ (June 16, 2007)  OpenMetrik will announce the release of its new product line called GRIP at the MIT Emerging Technologies Conference Technology Review’s Emerging Technologies (EmTech) Conference at MIT this September 25-27 2007.

The new product line of management control systems, aptly called GRIP (Governance Rigor with Integrated Processes), will drastically cut down the hype of so-called bits and pieces of “enterprise software” that attempt to partially solve the management puzzle.

GRIP product line will be offered to three market segments: IT, R&D and Business. GRIP-R&D will be the one for the R&D New Product Development Portfolio Management. GRIP-IT will be the full demand/supply chain for IT – and it will handle the management of projects, applications, operations and infrastructure combined. GRIP-Metrics will address the Risk and Compliance and cross-BU reporting needs.

For customers will special needs of process integration, the sub modules of GRIP can be assembled like lego pieces to create a special bundle called, “GRIP-sp”. For example, some customers may need a higher level of PMO rigor, rather than spend tracking rigor. In such cases, GRIP Finance module Level 1 rigor can be assembled with GRIP-PMO Level 2 rigor, to create a GRIP-special solution.

All the products are not just reporting and dashboard tools: rather than giving enterprise visibility, GRIP products, by definition will establish enterprise-wide accountability. As you would expect, GRIP will converge the areas of strategy, finance, performance and execution all into one.

Architecturally, GRIP will be offered on Oracle 10G/Apache platform as well as .NET platforms. Customers have a choice of which platform to choose. Again, this is possible because we have achieved the true isolation between the presentation layer and the business logic, and the storage.

Implementation wise, we are very strict and aggressive about our product positioning. No more of the nemesis of long-drawn endless customizations and implementation surprises. Our rapid implementation model lies typically between eight to ten weeks, even for large scale corporations. We are openly writing fixed-term, no-risk contracts in support of that.

Customers now have more time left to focus on their business. Customers can now spend their time more productively, rather than chasing missed and low quality management data. With our total Managed Care coverage that includes virtual PMO service and our “back-of-the-napkin” clear TCO priding model, the whole issue of Governance becomes a non-issue, truly.
